These bracelets were made by three Congolese refugee women who have been resettled by the International Rescue Committee (IRC)
in Dallas after enduring more than 10 years of isolation in a refugee camp in Mozambique. These women have faced unfathomable attrocities including violence & rape, & have lost many loved ones while fleeing a mass genocide. Join us in supporting them as they work to rebuild their lives in our community.
Each handmade GAIA item includes a hangtag signed by the refugee artisan who made it, along with the story behind our brand.
