Kidding Around

Thank you D Magazine for considering us follow-worthy! When GAIA founder Paula Minnis gave birth to twins in 2012, our GAIA Baby line was born! Reversible bib + bootie sets, diaper pouches, & baby banners make for meaningful shower gifts & special keepsakes. We like to think we've created a truly practical baby line with major crib appeal. Follow us on Instagram & stay tuned for an occasional  appearance from the adorable Minnis twins!

Our Advocate

We hope GAIA grows to reach a national audience someday, and when it does, we will be ever more thankful for the community from which we grew. We feel so supported by the Dallas community, who continue to purchase our perfectly imperfect items, and therefore investing in the lives of these humble women.  It's not just the stores and the shoppers, but also the local publications who continue to cheer us on. Big hug to the Preston Hollow Advocate who featured Paula Minnis, the brains & the beauty behind GAIA, this month. Take a look!

On-Conscious

SUPER honored to be included in Conscious Magazine's holiday gift guide this year, thanks to Design Good! There are lots of gift lists out there – but guys – this one is rad. Gone are the days of buying crappy bracelets to support giant faceless charities – With all of the cool artisan collaborations globally & locally now on the retail scene, you have your pic of awesome products made by individuals you can often look up on company websites. Choose some items from this extensive & well-edited list & feel extra good about giving this year.

Feeling the Figue Love

So thrilled to have been featured by one of our favorite brands, Figue, on their Travel Log!  Check out their interview with GAIA founder Paula Minnis, in which she shares her inspirations, frustrations, future plans for GAIA, and advice for other social entrepreneurs. Be sure to also check out their killer collection of GAIA zipper pouches in the "Give Back" portion of their site here.  Merci beau coup, Figue!

Jammin' with

We loved meeting Molly, the mastermind behind A Piece of Toast – the guiding fashion force for much of Dallas' lovely young lady population. She's super savvy with clear fashion prowess & a sharp wit – just the gal we love donning our wares. Molly took us to Denmark – by "us" I mean our bracelets – & made us wish we had given her a GoPro bracelet so we could participate in her global galavanting. Safe travels, Molly!

Swooning

Simple Lovely has always been one of our favorite sources of interior inspiration, must-go-do lists, and mouthwatering eye candy. Everything Joslyn does/creates/takes part in is magical. You can imagine our uncontainable excitement when she agreed to style our products for our upcoming lookbook at her creative headquarters, Swoon, the studio! And then mentioned us on her blog coupled with the word "inspiring". No more words.

The Cool Issue

Fort Worth's what's-up publication 360 West Magazine spotted our wares in A. Hooper {4001 Camp Bowie Blvd.} & totally got us. Except for our name: GAIA Empowered Women. But the whole "helps refugee women find their footing by employing them to create handmade accessories from vintage and repurposed materials" part was spot-on. Thanks partners!*
