"Local Sparkle"

Culture Map Dallas made a list of their favorite local jewelry lines, & guess who made the cut?? (If you're still trying to guess, you need coffee.) Another local gal Nicola Bathie was also featured – & we want to be friends. Her earrings are RAD. Take The Katie, for instance. You love? We love. Sincere thanks to Culture Map for the shoutout, & sarcastic thanks to Culture Map for leading us to Nicola's paycheck-absorbing creations.

She shares her own style musings as well as at bit of Coco Chanel's – a killer combination if you ask us. SPOILER ALERT: her "Beauty Must" is sleep. Onward and Upward and FORWARD

GAIA owner/founder Paula Minnis had the opportunity to speak to a growing network of professional women in Dallas at the FORWARD event this past December. At the December gathering she shared her thoughts on "innovation," and in this month's FORWARD publication she sheds light on her definition of "the good life." Now don't you all go quitting your jobs, buying one-way plane tickets, and dreaming of romanticized hostels throughout Europe… but it wouldn't hurt to plan an "educational" adventure for 2014 instead of a 10th trip to your regular beach haunt. Start saving, future world-traveler.

Karl

Ok this actually has nothing to do with Karl Lagerfeld, but we are included in Papercity's 2013 Gift Guide! Still cool, right? The mag says our new beaded tassel bracelets ($48) are perfect "for girlfriends with a heart." We are so honored to bear that badge!

We wish our "bungalow" looked like this...

Bungalow magazine is basically our wish list in pictures. It's gorgeous. Needless to say we were beyond excited when they included us in their enviable "style" section. We'd like to say they recognized our exemplary style savvy from the highly professional iPhone photos on our Facebook page, but we're just as proud to say they tracked us down via our all-time favorite kids shop Little Bean, which has recently moved from bricks + mortar to clicks + pixels. Shop their new digs online if you want your little natives to be officially "stylish". (Bungalow says so.)
Fully indulge in Bungalow dreaminess here.
